The history of our Company goes back to 1945 when we started business, as the state-owned enterprise PBM Warszawa-Po³udnie, from rebuilding of a capital city after the ravages of war.
In the following years we built two major housing complexes in the district of Ursynów and Stegny. We had been present on many building-sites abroad for many years.
In April 1994 we successfully conducted restructuring and privatization of the Company by creating a new entity - a joint stock company named PBM PO£UDNIE S.A.
After privatization the company started developing dynamically. Renovation and modernization works in our real estates were started. We also built a facility for warehouses and offices, Derby 1 and Derby 2, on £±czyny Street in Warsaw.
For the sake of protection against economic changes in the construction industry, PBM PO£UDNIE SA has broadened its scope of activities and on the basis of its own mountain holiday centres in Rytro and Karpacz, which obtained the status of a hotel and of a three star guesthouse respectively, began activities in the field of hotel and tourist services.
From the year 2000 the development of PBM PO£UDNIE SA has continued, fostered by a boom in the construction industry.
The growing demand on the apartment market and the company's good financial situation
allowed it to create in a new developer company in 2002, named PBM PO£UDNIE DEVELOPMENT, in which PBM PO£UDNIE SA has 100% of the shares.
In 2002 PBM PO£UDNIE SA purchased a hotel in Nadarzyn, near Warsaw, and became co-owner of it. In the same year a hotel company, HOT-POL, was registered. The increased involvement of PBM PO£UDNIE SA in the tourist market lead to the establishment of a specialized company named PBM PO£UDNIE TOUR in 2004.
At present we continually broaden the scope of our hotel and tourist services by expanding and modernizing estates.
In 2005, on the initiative of PBM PO£UDNIE SA, a capital group PBM PO£UDNIE was established and all the companies formed after the year 2000 have become part of it.
